A4: Yes, the vacuum chamber is equipped with valves and pressure gauges, supporting vacuum pumping and can also be filled with different gases, such as nitrogen and argon.

A5: The carrier can also be replaced with a silica crucible. The heating rate is similar to that of graphite and is related to the amount of sample you burn in a single run.
